Teleco Equipment
Home Up

Out in the middle of no where, a new Telephone company SLIC.  Fiber to copper pair conversion.  A good location to set up a command post of a disaster, such as a plane crash.   Power and Telephone in one place.

As I understand the equipment:  On the far left, a new fiber SLIC.  This converts a fiber into many phone lines.   The center box below the FP&L meter is a power supply for the fiber equipment.  I think the box on the right is an older system that does the same thing but from T1s on copper, not fiber.  Feel free to correct me on any of this.

Can anyone find this on the aerial photography for me?  I didn't take note of the coordinates.
